Before Balloonology, I worked in one of Canary Wharf's landmark hotels, where I learnt that unforgettable guest experiences are rarely accidental—they're thoughtfully designed through genuine hospitality, attention to detail and people who truly care.
Later, my career in technology consultancy taught me something equally valuable: the best products, services and experiences all begin by understanding the end user. Although hospitality and technology seem like very different worlds, they both start with the same question—how can we make this experience better for the person in front of us?
Balloonology was born where those two worlds meet. It brings together my love for hospitality, psychology and technology to create celebrations that feel personal, thoughtful and effortless—for the people we're celebrating and the hotels we proudly work alongside.

Once your enquiry is confirmed, Saph liaises with your hotel on your behalf — confirming decoration policies, arranging set-up access before your check-in, and coordinating each detail directly with their events team. Whilst Balloonology® will always advocate for your celebration, we cannot guarantee a hotel's decision — access, timing and permissions remain at the discretion of each hotel. If your hotel is unable to approve the installation, we'll gently suggest an alternative that creates the same atmosphere.
Most hotels welcome tasteful styling, though each has its own policy. We cannot guarantee that your hotel will onboard our installation — that decision remains theirs. Saph will liaise with them on your behalf and, if they can't accommodate, we'll suggest a beautiful alternative.
Every celebration is personal. Colour palette, ribbon, message, floral notes, gift additions — we curate each detail with you in a private conversation before your date.
We recommend two to four weeks for Signature Occasion Experiences. Last-minute enquiries are always welcome — we'll do our very best.
Signature Celebration (£350) is our primary experience for guests staying in standard hotel rooms. Signature Suite Experience (£450) is designed for guests staying in hotel suites — rather than styling a single room, we transform the entire suite into a cohesive, Pinterest-inspired environment. If you're staying in a suite, we recommend the Suite Experience so the impact matches the luxury of the space.
Signature Celebration (£350) includes 35 helium balloons, your choice of ribbon, tea lights, helium heart entrance balloons, rose petals, a 3-phrase foil text display, and floor balloons if you'd like them. Signature Suite Experience (£450) includes everything in the Signature Celebration, with a larger, more abstract editorial decor approach — perfect for a highly Instagramable event in a suite setting.
We are based in London and the West Midlands, and most of our celebrations take place in central London hotels. Travel beyond these areas is often possible — please mention your location in your enquiry and we'll confirm availability and any travel considerations with you directly.
